As a representative of the student community on the Gold Coast, I took an active role in connecting students with significant local events and opportunities. This involved participating in behind-the-scenes and VIP experiences across the city, where I was able to provide valuable insights and foster relationships with influential figures across both public and private sectors.
Through my participation in professional development workshops, I developed essential skills that contributed to both my personal and professional growth. This included media training, which greatly enhanced my written, digital, and verbal communication skills. These experiences ensured I could effectively convey key messages across a variety of platforms, fostering engagement with diverse audiences.
Furthermore, I built and nurtured a strong professional network by engaging with media professionals, industry leaders, government representatives, international delegations, and members of the local community. This exposure not only broadened my professional connections but also deepened my understanding of the intersection between education, industry, and community development on the Gold Coast.
